Abstract
In order to look into the effect of Aqua-acupuncture of Jeonggongdung on Adjuvant arthritis. Adjuvant arthritis was infected into skin of rats¢¥ right foot by injecting Freund¢¥s Complete Adjuvant Concentration, and then Aqua-acupuncture was performed on the Asi-acupoint After then. separated searched were made on changes of antiphlogistic action, numbers of Blood Platelet and WBC, contented quantities of Total protein and cholesterol. alleviation of pain, RA test, CRP. ASLO, ESR, IgG, IgM into 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group and 10% group, compared with Adjuvant-treated group. As the result. the following conclusions were reached.
1. In the antiphlogistic act, both 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group and l0% group showed effective rates of decrease in comparison to Adjuvant-treated group. Particularly. 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group showed outstanding rate of decrease.
2. In the number of Platelet. both the numbers of 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group and 10% group were reduced effectively in comparison to Adjuvant-treated group. Particularly. 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group showed outstanding rate of decrease.
3. In the number of WBC, both 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group and 10% group showed decreases in comparison to normal saline-treated group as well as Adjuvant-treated group. Particularly, 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group showed outstanding rate of decrease.
4. In the contented quantity of Total protein, 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group did not show effective change in comparison to Adjuvant-treated group and 10% group showed effective increase in comparison to Adjuvant-treated group.
5. In the contented quantity of cholesterol, both 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group and 10% group did not show effective change in comparison to Adjuvants-treated group.
6. In the alleviation of pain, both 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group did not show effective change in comparison to adjuvants-treated group and 10% group showed effective decrease in comparison to adjuvants-treated group but little effect in comparison to sulpyrine group.
7. No group showed RA factor.
8. CRP was detected in Adjuvants-treated group and 10% but was never detected in 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group and 10% group.
9. No group showed ASO.
10. In ESR, 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group showed effective decrease in comparison Adjuvants-treated group and 10% group did not showed effective change in comparison to Adjuvants-treated group.
11. In IgG 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group and 10% group did not show effective change in comparison to Adjuvants-treated group.
12. In IgM 5% concentration of Jeonggongdung group did not show effective change in comparison to Adjuvants-treated group and 10% group showed effective increase in comparison to Adjuvants-treated group.
According to the result of the above experiment, the Aqua-acupuncture of 5% and 10% Jeonggongdung of injection on asi-acupoint appeared to have effect on Adjuvant arthritis of Rates, so we could say that it should be studed and developed more through clinical practices.
